So as a lot of you know i have a slow blue Celica ..... anyways here is the history of my little slow blue car.
so i guess we can start with this

yup that was my car at one point.... i fixed the control arm, replaced the strut, got a new fender and wheel.
I was going to sell her after this, but Honda was being a bitch and wasn't giving me enough as a trade so i kept it.
then this happen

I take blame for that though, the car was running on a un-tuned map and the car was knocking and it just knocked itself to death.
so then i thought since i have to rebuild it, why not go all out???
got stage 3 cams, port and polish head, re sleeved the block, high compression pistons, I went crazy with it....
here she was ready to make some power, 8 months later with a fully built N/A engine

drove the car for about 2 weeks, then

yup...

snapped a valve and it did some nice work to my piston....
it seems like the piston company had not designed the pistons right so i got a new set of pistons and valves at no charge.
then after a month the engine started to overheat...
i decided to take the engine apart and see what was going on....


damaged cam journals

damaged stage 3 cams

damaged rod bearing

doesn't seem like the shop did a good job......

damaged oil pump gear...

crack on the block....

3 total cracks...
so it seem like the machine shop that put the engine together was just out to get my ass.
I was very young so i guess they just decided to build me a shit engine, anyways just in case the machine shop was Ballos they are in Richmond.
so after about a year i finally decided to keep the car and start over fresh.

picked up a brand new short block from toyota

a nice $1500





knifed edge the crank and got the engine fully balanced and blue printed

brand new head with titanium retainers, Super tech valves, Eibach springs, and new set of cams

and ever since then she has been happy and loving the boost =)
i know its a long thread but i just wanted you guys to know the background on the car, she has come a long way
A lot of people would of gave up, but she was my dream car since i was 15 and i couldn't let her go, so i never gave up on her and kept going till she was done

oh and nice signature, whoever made for you must be pretty darn cool!

you put alot of heart into you car, thats wassup. most people would probably just be as crushed as the car and give up.

Lol I would never boost a car without touching the bottom end, it's like a ticking bomb if you boost a car that is n/a from the factory
