I don't generally like a lot of people knowing whats going in my car and I sure as heck don't put out a lot of pictures. Not because I am JDM-mad tyT3 "can't peep under my hood." But because I don't want some gangsta' wanna be breaking into my home trying to steal my setup. I am VERY well armed and don't want to clean someones brain matter from inside my home. PICTURES!!!!How she stood last week.
After priming the engine I noticed a leak coming from oil feed inlet of the turbo so I ripped the turbo off replaced the adapter (which apparently had the wrong threads) and took a few more pictures
New Turbo setup.
Turbo on left is the previous turbo, I made around 400 AWHP on it @ 24 psi.
Turbo on right is the new monster Holset H1E (HX40 family).
This sucker (get it. Sucker.... cause it's a turbo) would be good for over 700 AWHP with E85, meth injection or race gas.
But I am going pump gas for now... hoping for 500 AWHP. Will do Meth injection later on down the line.
