| Jay,
As sleepy stated, it depends on your goal as they do similar but 2 different things.
P90X is more of a builder. You utilize weights, do pullups, do cardio but it's the all around "muscle building/getting cut" work out. The downfall of P90 is that not everyone can pull ups or do some of the things they require you to do. For myself, I don't do pull ups anymore since over the many years of doing military PT and injuring my shoulders from too many pushups and fighting in martial arts, It's not suitable for me. However, you may find you can do it.
Insanity is straight cardio. Hardcore cardio as Sleepy stated. If you wanna just get shredded in the quickest amount of time, Insanity is where it's at. You use ONLY your own body weight. Sounds easier, but it's 10 times more rough than P90x when it comes down to the cardio. As you know, P90 is 90 days of work outs. Insanity is only 60.
So if you're satisfied with your muscular structure and just wanna lean out and be shredded, go with Insanity.
If you want to build and get cut, P90X is what you want. But just know you need to buy weights and small equipment to utilize the workouts properly. |

| well the first step is admitting you have an issue. which you just did.
You just need to act upon it. It's discipline and it's not easy.
But just know one thing. If you did insanity, you'll be burning so many calories that you can almost eat buffet's and bonchon and it won't faze you.
that should be your motivation. |

| jay i have been debating between both of these....i have both just need the motivation to get back into it
From what others have said insanity is great if your trying to lose the extra pounds since it involves cardio is a more all around workout
P90 makes you cut. No homo but i have seen the results and can attest to this one.
Theres also the difference in time. P90 is alot shorter and i believe the whole excersises are done in 20 mins or less vs insanity which is i believe atleast 45 |

| But Insanity is 60 days vs P90X which is 90.
60 x 45 = 2700 min or 45 hours 90 x 20 = 1800 min or 30 hours. |

| P90x is good if you have the proper equipment. But I personally liked insanity, he pumped me up! But then that routine got old and too easy and i went to golds gym lol. |

| lol ^^ I think going to the gym is better in most cases because the p90x or insanity you need to be self motivated. |

| when you're home you get lazy because you're in your 'comfortable' space, when you actually make the effort to get ready to go out and work out that's when you have more motivation to get outta the house |
