Herro Unclassified family its winter time and its no time to get lazy and forget your driving skills, a lot of you know that I'm into track/karting i want to see how many of you guys are into it or willing to try a track day or a karting event.

Track events are very important not only for fun, but it would give all of you guys a chance to get to know your car, get the know the limits of your suspension and traction, I know a lot of you guys would probably not want to do a track day because you might be scared of crashing, and I wont lie the chances are out there, but as long as you take it slow and steady you'll have fun and have a great day of learning, most track days are done with a professional instructor that will tell you how to take the car to its limits, now i know still some of you wont want to do that, so in that case Go Karting is also a awesome way of becoming a better driver.

to do a track event i would like to know how many of you are serious about it, and same goes for karting post here and let me know you're willing to try it out and ill set something up at Summit point or at Allsports Grand Prix.

I'm down for karting!! But last time I checked they were closed for the season at Summit Point unless they opened again!

Summit point karting is close for the season, but All sports GP is a indoor karting place it's open all year round, Paul this aren't your normal go karts, on a straight you can get up to 40mph.

Track days are pricey I'll check on pricing but around $200-400

Ok so summit point has a program call Friday at the track is $250 of you sign up 2 weeks ahead of times and $10 more for late registration.
For $250 you get
Four track sessions with a personal instructor as well as skid pad time in our training cars.

As far as karting if you're a member of all sports you get 1 race for $18 and you get 8mims of track time, I usually get 20 laps on the slow karts and up to 22 laps on the super karts
If you aren't a member it's $20 per race.
They do offer event pricing but we need at least 11 or more people to do that.
But I think it's better if we did a event since they will not allow any walk ins to race with us.

I am definitely going to be doing track days at VIR and summit point. And I'm always up for karting.

I meant what company. Unfortunately it's gonna a little while before my car is ready for the track and this weekend I am busy. I have looked into track daze.com and they look like they are pretty good but don't have events till may.

I haven't actually done a event yet I just went with my friend, I think he is also in track daze

And yes most of the track days will be during spring/summer I just want to start the thread now and see how many members are down to go, I don't even have my FR-S yet but I'll be taking it to the track very often, the Celica was boosted and over powered for me to try and learn to track it, I would of crashed for sure lol

Well I am definitely down for it in sprig summer. We will see if I can free up time for karting.

Well we will have the same layout of engine but I have a turbo. I'm super curious to see how we stack up. Friendly competition of course but have someone to run with helps push you faster.

No clue yet, no release date they just said spring 2012

Oh I see. I thought they had an actually release date and were taking orders.

They Are taking order but no price is set, great marketing I guess since they got a ton of people like me ready to pay, but I def won't pay more than 25k for a fully loaded one.
