| Have you guys installed these yourselves? I've never done suspension stuff.
I did my spacer, z tube, exhaust, and sway bars myself.. but i don't have anything to compress the springs.
If you did this yourself, how easy was it? Do i need any special tools? |

| Most shops charge $250-$300. I'd do it for $150. |

| Yeah all you really need is a spring compressor to take off/install the springs on the front shocks. did you get the g35 or 350z versions? |

What's the difference between the 350z and the g35 version? I haven't actually ordered them. I was going to last night, but decided to do more research. |

| Tein S-tech 350z (fronts are progressive, rears are linear) .7”/.6” drop on 350Z G35 drops will be higher Spring rates in LBS 386/402
Tein S-tech G35(fronts are progressive, rears are linear) coupe drop 1.2"/.9" Spring rates in LBS 358/274
stock suspension spring rates for reference:
non-sport suspension (G35 coupes with oem 17’s & 18’s): Front:314 Rear:342 sport suspension (G35 coupes 2005/2006 with oem 19’s only): Front:314 Rear:427
The G35 versions have some really soft spring rates for the rear as you can see above so most people go with the 350z versions. Also, the 350z springs installed on a G35 will give you a slightly lower drop when compared with the G35 versions. |

| either way you go the ride will be rougher than stock but its not necessarily "uncomfortable" and just find the place that has the cheapest price. get some quotes from venders on G35driver |

| Got the springs in. At first when we lowered the car from the lift, it looked EXACTLY the same. We went away for 15 minutes, came back and it was much lower Yes... i know they have to set, i was just saying.. I went down to NC over the weekend and put about 500 miles on them. I'm gonna get my alignment done this week sometime. It doesn't really seem to NEED it.. but i was told to do it anyway to prevent odd tire wear. I had before and after pictures... but my phone turned off and won't turn back on, no matter WHAT i do. so i'll just take after pics tomorrow to show you guys. But i'm sure you've all seen it before. I went with the 350z springs that viceversa recommended. All and all i REALLY like the drop. It's a big difference. It'll be even better when i size up to 19's from the 18s. I definitely want to get wider tires in the back to make them flush. |

| I want to go lower in the future, but since this is my daily driver, i'm happy with the change. It should hopefully sag a little more over time. The size up in wheels will help too.
Eventually i'll have coil overs and i'll go lower, but i'm happy with this. |

| The ride is very similar to be honest. It's a bit firmer, but cruising it's pretty much the same.
I can really feel imperfections in the road though. I could feel them before, but now it's much worse. That was to be expected though.
My friend drove in front of me yesterday and said that my headlights were giving him a seizure because my cars suspension is firmer. (clear lens swap on the projectors = lots of color in the cutoff) |
