Depends on what kind of meeting. I'd imagine it's similar to a business meeting. A quiet restaurant like Olive Garden would be nice to have business discussions.

I would not suggest Olive Garden. It gets loud in most of them as business ramps up. Honestly if it's a business meeting, I like to have them in Thai-restraurants. It's always quiet in those.

Alright! Have some quick questions...

As i am going through writing up a letter template for donations..there are some core things we need to discuss...

1.Have we set a monetary goal for the fundraiser? not just what we would like to make during the fundraiser but also what we need to make the drive happen?

2. Where exactly are we donating the funds to?

3. What we are asking for from donators? And what are some benefits they will receive from the donation?

idk what to goal should be...im thinking 5k???

half the funds will go to the isa fundrasier.IF its up and running by then. the other half will go to the DC children's center. i have already emailed them about it and they said that i will have to come have a meeting with them. but it is still up in the air. the main focus is cancer...

we are open to any amount....

I think 5k is a reasonable goal. Paul please confirm this, but I think we talked about with a decent donation we will lay out their business cards or they are welcome to come set up a booth.

im saying all in all. cuz im not sure how or if we will get corporate donations lol

we are working that out now...the most we will have to pay for is the lot $250, police $50 an hour( thats if GMU wont let us get our own ppl) restrooms will be at the nearest building, may have to rent cones to block off roads. dj booth will be from ozzie and robbie. what more do we need??

but if you can find a way to bring in donations ahead of time from corporate ppl. then hook it up!!!!

On a more serious note. We were sub-sponsors of the Roaring Rebels Mustang Club Toys for Tots cruise-in.



With the Toys for Tots cruise-in, we just gave away a bunch of free stuff and they auctioned it off. However, that only worked because it was a local event.

For the Cancer Drive, we could do a percentage based fund raiser. If you want to do it, you have to let me know as soon as possible, because we have to promote it in advance for it to be a success. In the end, it's a win-win situation. You bring in more business for us, we give you 20% of all sales. (notice I said sales, not profits).
